Jimmy Dominico/Pixabay. The Blue whale has the biggest penis amongst mammals.
- The mammal with the biggest penis is the blue whale. It can measure anywhere between eight feet to ten feet, with a girth measuring from 12 to 14 inches. The blue whale can ejaculate over 35 pints, and the penis can weigh upto 150 pounds.
- Most mammals and other animals have a bone in their penis, called the os penis or the baculum but there is no bone in the human penis. Still, human males can suffer from penile fracture which occurs when the thick membrane around the erectile tissue suffers from a tear. This leads to a cracking sound which is why it is called a fracture. There is an immediate loss of erection, coupled with extreme pain. In more severe cases, the urethra is also damaged and the person has difficulty urinating.
- Humans have the largest penises of all the primates, both in proportion to body size and when measured in absolute terms.
Anqa/Pixabay. Only 6% of men need extra large condoms.
- Only 6% of the world's male population require an extra large-sized condom, as per condom manufacturers. There are two kinds of penises, a grower and a shower. The grower penis, when erect, expands in length and girth, while the shower penis is big when flaccid but doesn’t gain much length and girth after an erection. More than 79% of men have a grower penis, which may look small when not erect, but grows in size significantly after a hard-on, while 21% have apparently a limp, big penis, which may not get larger when erect.
- Iceland has an entire museum dedicated to penises.
Charles Deluvio/Unsplash. There are two types of penises in terms of size: growers and showers.
- The average size of an adult male penis when flaccid is 3.5 inches, which can almost double in size when erect and measure between five to six inches.
- Smoking can shorten the size of a man’s penis by up to 1 cm. Blood is calcified when a person smokes, which can hamper blood circulation in the penis, affecting the erection.
- The foreskin of circumcised infants is used by doctors to treat burn victims. A single foreskin can help create up to 23000 square meters of skin which can be used to treat burns.
